Finding Hope When Church Feels HardNäide

When you seek help it can be hard to know what to say. We are sometimes conditioned to believe that sharing our experiences with church and church relationships is gossip or slander. But that depends on your motives.
Look at what the Word says about seeking help.
“Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.” (Proverbs 19:20)
If you go to someone trustworthy and honestly share your experiences with the purpose of healing, it is not sinful. We don’t need to keep secrets about the church. We do need to be wise in what we share, who we share with, and our hearts in sharing.
One person you can always share with is God. If your church situation feels difficult, He is willing to listen. You don’t need to hide or pretend with Him.
