Dear Lord,

What fun you must have had thinking up the beautiful world you made for us. Thank you for the sunshine, for trees, plants, flowers, and bushes our wonderful sun sustains. Thank you that a day filled with sunshine and a blue sky can nourish my soul and lift my attitude high above troubling circumstances. Thank you for creating massive oceans. I feel great peace as I watch the waves methodically flow to shore, and that reminds me how steady and constant your love is. Creation is so much bigger than me. I often need to be reminded of that. Thank you for gentle streams, for pastures with grasses blowing in the breeze. Thank you for the snowcapped mountains.

Thank you for the incredible animals you made. God, you are so amazing. Giant whales. Tiny hummingbirds. Lions. Bears. Monkeys. Giraffes. Puppies. Kittens. So many different animals. Thank you for them.

Thank you for star-­filled nights. Thank you for the moonlight gently filling my room. Thank you for rain showers. Thank you for thunderstorms. Oh God, thank you for it all! Every blade of grass and grain of sand is a whisper of your love for us!

I thank you for making things all of us can appreciate that can bring us to worship you. You thought of something for everyone!
