God's Redemption Story (Genesis)Näide

What ran through Noah’s brain when God instructed him to build a giant boat? Are you sure about this, God? This is way too big, God? Are you crazy, God? Maybe he scheduled a doctor's appointment to get his hearing checked. Whatever his initial response, Scripture is clear about the final result.
Noah obeyed.
Sometimes, God gives us instructions that feel way too big or downright crazy. Have you ever felt a nudge in your heart to invite a coworker to church? Maybe God asked you to volunteer in the kids' ministry. Has he ever suggested you change jobs or move to another state? Sometimes, God gets really crazy and asks us to open our home to foster care or adoption. In Noah’s case, disobedience meant a watery death and extinction of the human race. God’s instructions to us aren’t always backed by a tidal wave, but when we examine the boundless benefits of obedience, we will always find the great love of God.
