JamesNäide

These verses communicate just how important relationships are. James tells us that anyone who seeks to “bring back” those who have fallen from the truth of the Gospel, saves them from eternal death and frees them from the bondage of sin so that they can experience a rich and full life.
One of the most amazing things about following Jesus is that we don’t just get to receive a second chance from Him, but we get to partner with Him in extending second chances to other people! It is both a great blessing and a great responsibility on those who are aware of this gift. If we choose to invite God into our daily lives, we can be the one God uses to draw people back into relationship with Him.
Since it’s in our human nature to “wander”, let’s be proactive and invite people into our lives and give them permission to call out anything that may lead us astray with our relationship with God. Likewise, we need to be constantly looking out for those in our lives. We should refuse to do life alone because God has called us to be an extension of healing for other people! What an honor!
Prayer points:
- Thank God for His faithfulness, grace and the amazing gift of relationships.
- Pray that God would prep your heart for those who are “wandering” and give you wisdom on how to love and care for them.
- Pray that God would reveal those in your life that are lost and need help finding Him.
