Pray Through the PsalmsNäide

Give Me Guidance
In Psalm 119:33-40, David is asking God for guidance and understanding. He wants to stick to the right path and not get caught up in lies and deceit. He's essentially saying, "God, teach me your ways and help me understand your instructions. I want to follow your commandments with all my heart."
David also asks God to be patient with him and give him the wisdom to live a righteous life. He wants God to remove any desires for material things or dishonest gain and enable him to focus his heart on God's truth. It's a heartfelt plea for God's guidance and a sincere desire to live according to his ways.
Guided prayer: “God, I want to do what’s right. Help me to know you better so that I can understand the desires you have for my life. Give me the willpower to say no to things that aren’t good for me. Help me to stay focused on your will for my life. Amen.”
