Gracious Heavenly Father,

To give thanks
in ALL things.

ALL things.

The good, the bad,
the happy, the sad.

Sometimes,
it's a struggle.
A battle.
A knock-down-drag out-fight.

And yet,
we know this truth:

You are in ALL things.
You are at work in ALL things.
You see and You know and You love -
ALL the time.

Father, give us the strength
to surrender
everything in our life
to You
in a spirit of thanksgiving,
as a sacrifice of praise.

Forgive us, Father God,
for the times "thank you, Lord"
doesn't come easy
from our lips
or our heart.

Forgive us for the times
we fail to recognize
Your faithfulness,
Your mercy,
and Your grace
in every situation,
in every circumstance,
in every trial,
in every tear.

Oh, Father God,
how could we not offer You thanksgiving?
How could we not be thankful?

For you, Oh Lord,
are holy and just,
compassionate and kind,
beautiful beyond words.

Thank you, Abba Father.

Thank you, Almighty God.

Thank you, Jesus.

May our lives always overflow
in thanksgiving to You.

In Jesus' precious name,
we pray.
