Real Life Church

Scattered to the Nations
Everybody is looking for a place to belong. A place where they can be known, loved, and discover that their life matters. Over the next four weeks, we're pulling back the curtain on the story of Real Life Church—not because our story is special, but because it points to the God who writes incredible stories through ordinary people. Whether you've been here for years or you're walking through our doors for the very first time, this series is an invitation. An invitation to see where we've come from, what God has done, and how He might be weaving your story into something bigger than you ever imagined. Because this isn't just our story. It's not just your story. It's God's story.

NEW TO REAL LIFE?
What if following Jesus is about more than attending church—and actually joining Him in reaching people?
This Sunday, we’re concluding This Is Us by discovering how every follower of Jesus can play a part in His global mission. You’ll hear what God is doing through our upcoming Thailand mission, learn practical ways to support disciple-makers around the world, and see how your prayers, generosity, encouragement, and willingness can make an eternal difference.
You may never move overseas, but every Christian is called to live sent. Whether across the street, across the city, or across the world, God can use your ordinary life to help someone encounter Jesus.
Join us in person or watch online as we explore what it means to scatter to all nations.
Key words: Church, Unity, Community, Mission, Together
1. The Gospel Came to Me
Read Acts 1:8.
Who helped bring the Gospel to your “address”? Share about a person, church, conversation, or moment God used to help you know and follow Jesus.
2. Where Has God Sent Me?
Jesus sends His followers to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth.
Who has God already placed in your everyday mission field—your family, neighborhood, workplace, school, or circle of friends? Is there someone you sense God inviting you to reach out to?
3. What Did I Do With Jesus?
The message asked two important questions:
1. What did you do with Jesus?
2. Who did you bring with you?
How would you honestly answer those questions in this season of your life? What helps or prevents you from sharing your faith with others?
4. Availability Before Clarity
Sometimes we wait until we know every detail before saying yes to God. But often, availability comes before clarity.
Is there an area where God may be asking you to simply say, “I’m available”? What fears, questions, or insecurities make that difficult?
5. Every Follower Is Sent
Some people will go cross-culturally, but every follower of Jesus is called to go.
Which expression of global missions connects most deeply with you right now: praying, giving, encouraging, caring for a ministry partner, joining a trip, or leading others? Why?
6. Caring for Those Who Go
Real Life Church’s vision is for every global ministry partner to have a team that prays, encourages, celebrates victories, cares for their family, and helps them know they are not alone.
What kind of encouragement would you need if you were serving far from home? Would any of you be willing and available to help care for our global partners?
7. More Than a Missions Trip
The goal of a mission trip is not religious tourism. It is to strengthen, encourage, and bless the disciple-makers already serving in that nation.
What attitude should we carry when serving people from another culture? How can we make the mission about strengthening others rather than having an experience for ourselves?
8. My “All In” Response
Read Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:15.
Complete this sentence and share it with the group:
“God, whatever You want to do through my life to help someone know Jesus, I’m willing to…”
What is one practical step you can take this week to live as someone who is scattered to make disciples of all nations?
Closing Prayer
Pray for the upcoming Thailand team, Real Life Church’s partners in Thailand, Colombia, and the Middle East North Africa region, and for God to show each person how they can participate in His global mission.
