¡Qué difícil es la lucha con el pecado! No solo por lo que cuesta vencer aquellos que identificamos, sino por lo imposible de mirar tan hacia dentro que seamos conscientes de los que nos son ocultos. En este plan indagamos en nuestro corazón y pedimos, como David en el Salmo 19, que nos libre incluso de los que no conocemos.

Words, words, words, power-filled words! Words that build or words that tear down. Words that give life or words that bring death. The choice is ours. Let’s evaluate the significant power that is held in our words.

Each of us is sure to suffer at some point in our lives. As a counselor, I’ve seen sufferers transformed. I’ve seen those once debilitated by trauma learn to suffer well. In this brief devotional, I pray that you will realize that your story is not over. You may experience suffering, but you can suffer well. You can ask, What’s next? instead of getting stuck asking, Why? You can become resilient.

Emotions—love them or hate them—we’ve all got them. And we’ve all got to figure out what to do with them. But wait. Can we do anything about emotions? Can we learn how to identify, express, experience—and yes, sometimes wrangle—our feelings in order to live a vibrant, healthy life for Jesus?
