Jesus' Return You will not be able to miss Jesus' return. There will be a three-fold announcement: Jesus is going to shout from heaven, and all those who belong to Him will hear His voice; the voice of an archangel will be heard announcing to every creature that the King of glory has now come to claim His possession; and the trumpet will sound so clearly and with such force that the dead in Christ will be awakened. Also in this passage are three precious promises. The dead in Christ shall rise; those loved ones who have preceded us in Christ will be included in this day of all days. Next, those who are alive will meet the Lord in the air—a face to face reunion with Jesus and all those most dear to us. Lastly, we shall always be with our Savior. The day of His coming is more precious with each passing moment. Look up! Your redemption is drawing near. Listen! One day the air will be filled with that glorious announcement: Jesus is here!
