August 24th - Mobile Blood Drive
There will be a mobile blood drive here at The River from 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. Sign up online by going to donortime.com or sign up today after service by the fireplace.
September 6th - Women’s Tuesday Night Bible Study
This group will meet from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. weekly on Tuesday evenings. This study will last 24 weeks and we will be using Discipler Bible Study lessons to study the book of Romans. Sign up by going to HitTheRiver.com/Events.
September 9th - Women’s Friday Afternoon Bible Study
This group will meet from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. weekly on Friday afternoons. This study will last 12 weeks and we will be studying 1st & 2nd Peter and using the study guide by John MacArthur. Sign up by going to HitTheRiver.com/events.
September 11th - Outdoor Service and Baptisms
We will be having an outdoor service at 10:00 a.m. so bring your lawn chairs and invite a friend! Following the service there will be an opportunity for anyone who would like to publicly celebrate their commitment to Christ to be baptized. 6th - 8th Grade Girls Bible Study
Calling all 6th through 8th grade girls! Please join us Sunday mornings during the 9:30 service to dive into our fall bible study. We will be covering the foundations of our faith, going beyond and discussing what we "shall not fear" and what we have to look forward to in heaven with our God. Our study will be every Sunday leading up to Christmas at which time we will talk about the names of Jesus and how we can keep Christ in Christmas. Our first study will start on September 18th. Study materials will be $7 and can be purchased when signing up for the study with Brittany McGaffin at brittany.mcgaffin@gmail.com. We hope your tween can join us!
