Introduction
• By this we know that we are in Him. (2:5)
• I have written to you, children, because you know the Father. (2:13)
• But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. (2:20)
• I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it. (2:21)
• We know that when He appears, we shall be like Him. (3:2)
• We know that we have passed out of death into life. (3:14)
• We shall know by this that we are of the truth. (3:19)
• And we know by this that He abides in us. (3:24)
• By this you know the Spirit of God. (4:4)
• By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us. (4:13)
• By this we know that we love the children of God. (5:2)
