Isaiah 62:7-9
Isaiah 62:6-9 The Message (MSG)
I’ve posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem. Day and night they keep at it, praying, calling out, reminding GOD to remember. They are to give him no peace until he does what he said, until he makes Jerusalem famous as the City of Praise. GOD has taken a solemn oath, an oath he means to keep: “Never again will I open your grain-filled barns to your enemies to loot and eat. Never again will foreigners drink the wine that you worked so hard to produce. No. The farmers who grow the food will eat the food and praise GOD for it. And those who make the wine will drink the wine in my holy courtyards.”
Isaiah 62:7-9 King James Version (KJV)
and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: but they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
Isaiah 62:7-9 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)
And give Him no rest until He establishes And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. The LORD has sworn by His right hand and by His strong arm, “I will never again give your grain as food for your enemies; Nor will foreigners drink your new wine for which you have labored.” But those who garner it will eat it and praise the LORD; And those who gather it will drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.
Isaiah 62:7-9 New Century Version (NCV)
You should not stop praying to him until he builds up Jerusalem and makes it a city all people will praise. The LORD has made a promise, and by his power he will keep his promise. He said, “I will never again give your grain as food to your enemies. I will not let your enemies drink the new wine that you have worked to make. Those who gather food will eat it, and they will praise the LORD. Those who gather the grapes will drink the wine in the courts of my Temple.”
Isaiah 62:7-9 American Standard Version (ASV)
and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Jehovah hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy grain to be food for thine enemies; and foreigners shall not drink thy new wine, for which thou hast labored: but they that have garnered it shall eat it, and praise Jehovah; and they that have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.

The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: ‘Never again will I give your grain as food for your enemies, and never again will foreigners drink the new wine for which you have toiled; but those who harvest it will eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.’

And give Him no rest [from your prayers] until He establishes Jerusalem And makes her a praise on the earth. The LORD has sworn [an oath] by His right hand and by His mighty arm, “I will never again give your grain as food for your enemies, Nor will [the invading] foreigners drink your new wine for which you have labored.” But they who have harvested it will eat it and praise the LORD, And they who have gathered it will drink it [at the feasts celebrated] in the courtyards of My sanctuary.
Isaiah 62:7-9 New Living Translation (NLT)
Give the LORD no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth. The LORD has sworn to Jerusalem by his own strength: “I will never again hand you over to your enemies. Never again will foreign warriors come and take away your grain and new wine. You raised the grain, and you will eat it, praising the LORD. Within the courtyards of the Temple, you yourselves will drink the wine you have pressed.”
Isaiah 62:7-9 The Passion Translation (TPT)
and tirelessly give God no rest, until he firmly establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of all the earth! YAHWEH swears an oath by the authority of his right hand and by his mighty arm: “I will never again give your new grain as food for your enemies, nor will foreigners drink your new wine that you worked hard to produce. Instead, you who harvest it will eat it and offer your praise to YAHWEH, and you who gather the grapes will drink the new wine in my holy courts.”
