1Įnę̀ę sìı Nǫ̀htsı̨ nakwenàoɂǫǫ t'à gǫtłǫǫ̀ gocho gots'ǫ̀ goı̨de ı̨lè, eyıts'ǫ t'asìı łǫ xàɂaa t'à gots'ǫ̀ goı̨de ı̨lè, 2hanìkò dıì nǫǫde dzęę̀ ts'ǫ̀ hawee sìı Edeza t'à gots'ǫ̀ goı̨de. T'asìı hazǫǫ̀ Edeza tł'aà whelaà ayele ha yį̀į̀hchì hǫt'e, eyıts'ǫ wet'ǫ̀ǫ̀ dèè, yat'a eyıts'ǫ t'asìı hazǫǫ̀ whehtsı̨ hǫt'e. 3Nǫ̀htsı̨ Weza sìı dànì Nǫ̀htsı̨ wexè saı̨dı̨ı̨ sìı yexèht'eè wexè saı̨dı̨ hǫt'e. Nǫ̀htsı̨ dànì wègaat'ı̨ı̨ sìı Weza hotıì yexèht'eè wègaat'ı̨ hǫt'e, weyatıì nàtso t'à t'asìı hazǫǫ̀ edaà ayį̀į̀hwhǫ. Dǫ gha ełaı̨wo t'à gıhołı̨į̀ gıghǫ nahoazha ayį̀į̀là tł'axǫǫ̀, ı̨dòo yak'e Nǫ̀htsı̨ t'asìı wegha dìì-le sìı gà nàgòts'ehnèe wheda. 4Eyıt'à Nǫ̀htsı̨ Weza sìı yak'eet'ı̨į̀ gonahk'e t'asìı deè whelı̨, eyıts'ǫ hazǫǫ̀ gıızì nahk'e Nǫ̀htsı̨ yıızì nechàa whehtsı̨.
5Eyıt'à dàht'e-seè Nǫ̀htsı̨ yak'eet'ı̨į̀ ı̨łè ts'ǫ̀ dıı hadı,
“Nı̨ Seza anet'e, dıı dzęę̀ k'e Netà whıhłı̨,”
hadı nǫǫ̀? Hanì-le-ı̨dè asį̀į̀ yak'eet'ı̨į̀ ı̨łè ghǫ dıı hadı,
“Wetà ehłı̨ ha, eyıts'ǫ ededı̨ Seza elı̨ ha,”
asį̀į̀ yak'eet'ı̨į̀ ghǫ hadı hǫı̨lı̨ nǫǫ̀? 6Eyıts'ǫ Nǫ̀htsı̨ xàè Edeza dıı nèk'e ts'ǫ̀ yı̨ı̨hɂà kwe yeghǫ dıı hadı ı̨lè,
“Nǫ̀htsı̨ weyak'eet'ı̨į̀ hazǫǫ̀ gıghàsǫedı welè,” dek'eèhtł'è.
7Nǫ̀htsı̨ edeyak'eet'ı̨į̀ goghǫ dıı hadı,
“Edets'ǫ yak'eet'ı̨į̀ nı̨hts'ı gı̨ı̨lı̨į̀ agǫ̀ǫ̀là eyıts'ǫ kǫ̀woò gı̨ı̨lı̨į̀ agǫ̀ǫ̀là,” dek'eèhtł'è.
8Hanìkò edeza ghǫ dıı hadı,
“Nı̨ sìı Nǫ̀htsı̨ anet'e, welǫ whìle ts'ǫ̀ K'àowocho nelı̨ ha, eyıts'ǫ nàowo ehkw'ıı k'ę̀ę̀ k'àowo nelı̨ ha. 9Nàowo ehkw'ıı ghǫneę̀tǫ eyıts'ǫ nàowołı̨ı̨ dzanehwhǫ hǫt'e. Eyıt'à Nenǫ̀htsı̨ sìı neàgı̨ą gınahk'e K'àowodeè nelı̨ gha degaı tłeh nek'e ayį̀į̀là t'à nınà anį̀į̀là,” dek'eèhtł'è.
10Eyıts'ǫ Nǫ̀htsı̨ dıı hadı,
“Gots'ǫ̀ K'àowo t'akwełǫ̀ǫ̀ kèhoį̀wo ekò dıı dèè whenehtsı̨ eyıts'ǫ nılà t'à yat'a whenehtsı̨ hǫt'e. 11Nǫǫde nı̨dè eyı hazǫǫ̀ whìle agode ha, hanìkò nı̨ sìı t'aats'ǫǫ̀ nexè hòɂǫ ha. T'asìı hazǫǫ̀ hòèlı̨ı̨ sìı goht'ǫts'ıa lade ha. 12Goht'ǫ ładı̨į̀ ats'ehɂı̨ lagode ha. Hanìkò nı̨ sìı ładı̨į̀ anede ha-le eyıts'ǫ nelǫ nèhòkw'ı hǫı̨lı̨ ha nıìle,” hadı dek'eèhtł'è.
13Nǫ̀htsı̨ sìı edeyak'eet'ı̨į̀ ı̨łè ts'ǫ̀ dıı hadı whìle,
“Amìı nets'ǫ̀ xànegı̨ı̨ɂaa sìı hazǫǫ̀ gıghǫı̨hnè agehłe gots'ǫ̀, nàgòts'ehnèe k'e segà wheęda,”
