Wisdom Looks Good on You Wisdom brings grace and honor to our lives (Proverbs 1:9). Just listening to wisdom won’t make a difference, but putting it into practice will. If your dad says, “Don’t watch that show,” it’s because your dad knows that show has images and ideas that do not please God. Your dad is sharing his wisdom with you because he loves you and wants you to have a successful life. If you hear that your friends are watching that show, you might be tempted to do the same. But if you follow the advice your father gave you, it will make you stand out from the crowd in a positive way. God’s wisdom in our lives will help us do what is right, just, and fair, making us successful. Wisdom will beautify your life for God’s glory—that is everlasting!
