In a world where so much division and tension exists, we’d all be better off if we learned to love others—even if it’s inconvenient or uncomfortable. In this 4-day plan, we’ll discuss who our neighbors are and how to love them.

Many Christian groups are concerned with meeting either spiritual needs or physical needs. What should our priorities be as Christians? What can we learn from the Bible on this subject?

Empathy allows us to perceive the needs of others, and bring hope and relief into their lives. Often, we can struggle with how to display empathy. Fortunately, we have a great example: in this Plan. We’ll look at what the Bible has to say about empathy, and how we can grow in ours in order to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

BARMHERZIGKEIT. Das klingt irgendwie schön, aber auch recht angestaubt. Irgendwie auch verdächtig. Wer möchte schon auf „Barmherzigkeit“ angewiesen sein? Und was heißt Barmherzigkeit eigentlich? Wieso ist ein zentraler Begriff der Bibel so unter die Räder gekommen?
