“Our hearts are restless till they find their rest in Thee.” Never before have so many of us felt the restlessness Augustine described with this famous sentence. But what is the solution to our lack of true rest? As this three day plan will show, the solution partially lies in viewing the ancient practice of Sabbath through a different lens—through the lens of “Thee”—Jesus—our ultimate source of peace.

Most of us are overworked and utterly exhausted, so the concept of Sabbath could not be more important. To honor the Sabbath means to “keep it holy,” and holy simply means “set apart.” Our Sabbath should look different than the other six days of our week. In this Plan, we’ll discuss what it is, what it isn’t, how it looks today, and finding our true rest in Jesus.

Ist dein Leben anstrengend? Wir alle sind erschöpft in dieser verrückten, hektischen Welt, aber wie oft weigern wir uns, uns auszuruhen, weil wir denken, daß es nicht so wichtig ist oder wir sogar als faul angesehen werden? Gott hat der Ruhe mit dem Sonntag Priorität gegeben, als Er die Welt erschaffen hat. Jesus verspricht dir, Seine Ruhe zu geben, wenn du zu Ihm kommst. Er lädt dich ein, dich auszuruhen.

Bist du bereit für eine Veränderung im Jahr 2021? Wo holst du dir Rat dafür? Lässt du Gott deinen Weg lenken und setzt du dein Vertrauen in Ihn, anstatt nur auf dich selbst und auf weltliche Ratschläge zu hören? Gott möchte dich mit weisem Rat und großer Liebe führen und wird dich niemals falsch lenken. Gott ist ein unfehlbares GPS, also benutze es im Jahr 2021 und immer!
