Faith is directing our confidence, trust, and belief toward something or someone. The Bible shows us many great examples of ordinary people who showed extraordinary faith in God. Throughout this Plan, we’ll learn about a few people in God’s Word that will show us how to live by faith.

Diese Woche wollen wir verschiedene Namen von Gott (wieder-) entdecken. Gemeinsam werden wir sehen, was sie uns über unseren unglaublich wunderbaren Gott lehren! Ich bin mir sicher, dass du dadurch gesegnet werden wirst, was wir diese Woche entdecken.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is a yearly reminder of Jesus’ prayer for his disciples that “they may be one so that the world may believe” (see John 17.21). The theme in 2016, "Called to proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord", is inspired by two verses from the First Letter of St Peter. The resources have been prepared by members of different churches in Latvia.

Mindestens einmal im Jahr werden Christinnen und Christen erinnert an Jesu Gebet für seine Jünger „damit sie alle eins seien [...], damit die Welt glaube“ (vgl. Joh 17,21). Für das Jahr 2017 nehmen die Texte, von einer deutschen Arbeitsgruppe erarbeitet, einen Abschnitt aus dem 2. Korintherbrief unter dem Motto "Versöhnung - die Liebe Christi drängt uns" (2 Kor 5,17-21) auf.
