Du bist wunderbar gemacht - ja, nicht nur du - jeder Mensch ist nach dem Bild Gottes geschaffen. Uns Menschen wird eine unglaubliche Würde und Liebe von Gott zugesprochen. Trotzdem begegnen wir unseren Mitmenschen nicht immer mit Würde und Liebe. Wie können wir Nächstenliebe ganz praktisch in unserem Alltag leben? Mit dieser Frage beschäftigen wir uns in diesem Leseplan.

Mindestens einmal im Jahr werden Christinnen und Christen erinnert an Jesu Gebet für seine Jünger „damit sie alle eins seien [...], damit die Welt glaube“ (vgl. Joh 17,21).  Das Thema der Gebetswoche für 2018, „Deine rechte Hand, Herr, ist herrlich an Stärke“ (vgl. Exodus/2. Mose 15,6) , wurde von einer ökumenischen Gruppe in der Karibik ausgewählt.
