John’s wrapping things up. It’s been his message since the beginning. Those born of God believe that Jesus is the Christ. They strive to love God’s children because of their love for God. Their love for God is expressed in obeying his commands. That might seem taxing, but John assures us it’s not. God has begun a new work in all who trust in his Son. They have light and life. They overcome.
