Who protects the truth of God’s Word?
Paul calls the church in 1 Timothy 3:15 “...the pillar and ground of the truth.”That means the local church has a responsibility to uphold and preserve the Word of God for the world to see. Jude 3 urges believers to “...earnestly contend for the faith...”
The local church provides a foundation where sound doctrine is taught and defended. When a church fails to guard the truth, the congregation suffers.
Stand firm in your church. Serve in your church. Become a vital part of this body of Christ. A strong church is one that loves God’s Word and refuses to compromise it.
