How does the church help new believers grow?

Ephesians 4:11-12 teaches that the church is designed to be a training ground where new believers can learn, serve, and grow in maturity.

Growth in the Christian life doesn’t happen by accident. Just as a newborn needs care and guidance, a new believer needs teaching and encouragement to grow strong in faith. The local church provides that environment.

Discipleship happens through preaching, Bible studies, mentorship, and faithful examples. If you are a new believer, seek to grow. If you are mature in the faith, help someone else succeed. The church thrives when every believer is both learning and leading.
