Making Much Progress Through Persistent Prayersنموونە

When You Feel Like Giving Up
Jesus gave a parable to show that men ought always to pray and not lose heart. Everything around you in life may try to make you feel like giving up, but God warns you, "Don’t lose heart." Losing heart is where many believers disconnect from answers already in motion.
In the parable, the widow faced an unjust judge who neither feared God nor respected men. But she kept coming. She refused “no” as her final answer. She persisted until justice came. It wasn’t compassion that moved the judge, it was persistence. And in the story of the friend at midnight, bread was given not because of friendship but because he kept knocking.
Persistence breaks resistance.
Prayer is not begging. It is the steady, relentless and ''stubborn'' insistence that God’s Word is true. Some things in this kingdom take time, and you must dig your faith in there. If you quit too easily, you disconnect from what God is already working out for you behind the scenes.
This is why you must train your spirit to answer discouragement with resolve: “I will not quit, and I will not be defeated.”
That mindset shifts prayer from duty into victory. Your Father delights to give you the kingdom. He is not reluctant; He is not withholding. But His process requires endurance; persistent prayer, consistent thanksgiving, and a heart that refuses to faint no matter what the natural looks like.
Keep coming, keep knocking and keep standing. There is progress in persistence, and results meet those who refuse to give up.
Reflection:
Where have I allowed delay to silence my persistence in prayer?
Prayer:
Father, renew my strength in the place of prayer. When situations whisper discouragement, remind me that You are faithful. I choose to persist until results appear, for I know it is Your good pleasure to answer. Amen.
