First Responder
It all started with a dream. I found myself in a battle against an evil presence. The fear was paralyzing. I felt so helpless, so overwhelmed, that I didn't even try to fight. Frozen in a corner, I began to cry, believing all hope was lost.
Then, I saw a man walk past and speak two simple yet powerful words: "Just pray- even when it looks like you've already lost the battle. Just pray."
At that moment, I uttered a simple, desperate prayer, and to my surprise, God intervened, as if He had been waiting all along for me to call on Him.
Who Is Your First Responder?
Your first response to any situation determines who your first responder will be.
A first responder is the one who arrives first to assist at the scene of an emergency. In life, when prayer becomes your last resort, you delay divine intervention. Prayer unlocks God's power and brings heaven's help into your situation.
Prayer is not a ritual but rather a partnership with God. It's an invitation for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10 NKJV).
Let God be your first responder.
His line is always open. His number never changes. He's never too busy or too late. He's always right on time.
Here are a few "Bible numbers" to memorize and call upon:
"Make haste, O God, to deliver me! Make haste to help me, O Lord!" Psalm 70:1(NKJV).
"You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great." Psalm 18:35 (NLT).
"So we can say with confidence, the Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?" Hebrews 13:6 (NLT).
دەربارەی ئەم پلانە

Just Pray” is a 3-day devotional inspired by a dream—a dream in which I found myself in a battle I couldn’t win. Even when it looked like defeat was certain, I prayed a simple, desperate prayer. And in that moment, I survived what felt impossible. That experience reminded me that even the simplest prayers hold great power when spoken in faith. I hope that this devotional will encourage you, strengthen your faith, and remind you that no matter the circumstance, just pray.
