Lift Your Hands

ڕۆژی5 لە 14

Life often pulls us into patterns of worry, stress, and distraction. The world tells us to carry the weight ourselves, but worship calls us to lift our eyes to Jesus. When we focus on Him, our problems may not disappear, but they lose their power. Our burdens become lighter in the light of His strength, and our hearts find rest in His presence.

Worship doesn’t change God—it changes us. It shifts our perspective from fear to faith, from striving to surrender. In worship, we are reminded of who He is: our healer, our deliverer, our faithful Father. His glory reframes our anxieties, and suddenly, the things that once felt overwhelming grow smaller in His light.

As the old hymn declares, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.” When our hearts are fixed on Him, lifting our hands in worship becomes more than a gesture—it is an act of trust. It is saying, “Lord, I believe You can.” And in that place of surrender, transformation begins.

PRAYER:

Lord, when I feel overwhelmed, lift my eyes to You. Help me see my struggles in light of Your greatness, and renew my mind so that I live each day in the freedom of Your truth, Amen.

What if just a few minutes of worship each day could change everything? When you take time to focus on God, your relationship with Him deepens, and your heart starts to align with His truth and love. Even a few moments a day can renew your mind, lift your mood, and help you sense His presence throughout your day. Worship softens the heart, lifts heaviness, and frees us from the weight and noise of the world. Our prayer is that this devotional helps you lean into your purpose, see life clearer, and experience God in a fresh, personal way.
