Baptism

Baptism is a popular topic in the Christian faith. Jesus commanded us to be baptised in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that we cannot experience the kingdom life that He paid for if we are not born again. When we get baptised, we are publicly proclaiming that our old life has died with Christ and now we want to walk in the newness of life with Him, not just as our Saviour, but as our Lord as well. Is it essential to get baptised so that you can enter heaven one day? No, not necessarily. But it is crucial if you want heaven to enter into you. Being born again is essential to unlock your potential. You will enter everlasting life with Jesus through your faith in Him, but for Him to change your life now, you have to be born again.

Communion

Communion is a sacred practice in the Christian faith. Communion is when we partake in the elements that represent our Lord's body and blood. When we drink the grape juice and we eat the bread, we are reminding ourselves of what Jesus did for us through the cross. It is a time that we reflect on our covenant with God. Think of it this way: when a married couple comes together and is intimate with one another, they reassure themselves of their promises towards one another. Communion is like our intimacy with the Lord. We are seated with Him, partaking in the meal He paid for, and we get to know who we are in Him as sons and daughters of the Eternal King.

Tongues

Tongues is a topic that might be sensitive to some, but it is another one of the greatest gifts given to followers of Jesus. Tongues is a prayer language that is only accessible through the Holy Spirit. Praying in tongues is not to be understood by men, but by God. When you pray in tongues, you edify yourself and build yourself up in your most holy faith. When you pray in tongues, you pray the perfect prayer that enters the Throne Room of God. The Bible says that when you pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit helps you in your weaknesses, for you might not yet know how to pray. Tongues is not a language that is known by man; it cannot be understood by the natural ear, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, it can be interpreted when necessary. There are different tongues referred to in the Bible; there are some for public edification of the saints, and others for your personal time with the Lord.
