Day 2: The Only Justifier

Scripture: Romans 3:26; Luke 18:13–14

Jesus told of two men who went to pray. One listed his good deeds; the other cried for mercy. Only the second went home justified. Why? Because only God can justify. Our works cannot erase guilt — only His mercy can. True justification comes not from what we do, but from who God is.

Today’s theme connects with the track “The Remedy” from The Gift.

Reflect:

  • Do you tend to bring God your works or your heart?
  • Where do you need to cry out for mercy today?

The Gift of Justification

We all long to be justified — to be declared “right” and free from guilt. But no amount of good works or religious effort can save us. In this 5-day plan, discover how God Himself is our Justifier through Jesus Christ. Learn the difference between self-justification and God’s grace, and find rest in faith alone.
