More Than Conquerors: 10 Days in Romans 8نموونە

Life in the Spirit
Ever feel like your mind is a war zone — pulled in a hundred directions, weighed down with worry, distracted by thoughts you don’t want?
Paul says there’s a reason:
“Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit” (Romans 8:5 NIV).
Your mind is powerful. What you set it on shapes how you live. The flesh fills our thoughts with fear, pride, and self-centered desires—and it leads to death.
The Spirit fills our minds with truth and leads to life and peace.
This isn’t about just trying to “think positive.” It’s about who lives in you.
“If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you… he will also give life to your mortal bodies” (Romans 8:11 NIV).
The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you.
Not just near you. Not just with you. In you.
He renews your mind so you’re no longer ruled by fear or enslaved to old patterns of thinking.
Reflection:
- What thoughts most often pull your mind away from God?
Try This Today:
- Take a few minutes to pray over your thought life.
- Ask His Spirit to fill your mind with His truth and peace—and thank Him that resurrection power is living in you.
