God's Plansنموونە

12. It Will Be Given
How: God’s plans are seen with wisdom
Lectio. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” (James 1:5, NIV – read Jas. 1:1–8).
Meditatio. Writing to scattered believers, James drew on their experience to remind them that even situations testing faith have a higher purpose. Yet he acknowledged that such trials could generate doubts and instability.
Oratio. Pray for wisdom from above—the clarity that comes from God—to see the divine plan in every situation and to persevere in it until you reach full maturity and integrity of faith.
Contemplatio. Watch the sea stirred by the wind. See how the waves rise and fall, disappearing one after another. Now contemplate a solid rock in the midst of the waters: that is the firmness wisdom from above produces in you in any circumstance.
Confessio. In my teenage years, I learned that God allows us to be tested so we may be approved, and that marked my life. I know my God is not looking for reasons to fail me, but for opportunities to approve me.
