Quiet Time Moments for Women - 30 Daysنموونە

A Song of Trust
But I have trusted in Your loving kindness. My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.
Psalm 13:5-6, NASB
Is it possible to sing during life’s storms? The winds can rage, the sky can be dark, and yet a bird can sit in the hollow of a tree and sing the most beautiful song. In trials when you turn from despair to God’s love, then you can finally sing.
Corrie ten Boom describes a time during roll call at the wartime concentration camp when a cruel guard made the prisoners stand for a long time. Suddenly, a skylark began singing, and all the prisoners turned their eyes heavenward to listen to the song. Corrie thought, “O love of God, how deep and great; far deeper than man’s deepest hate.” God sent that skylark for three weeks to remind all of them to turn their eyes away from man’s cruel hate to the ocean of God’s love, poured into their hearts by the Holy Spirit (Rom. 5:5, NASB).
Today, remember God will help you sing in every difficult day.
Lord, thank You for pouring Your love into my heart and giving me a song even on dark nights. Amen.
