God’s Peace for Your Protection

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

Have you ever arrived at an airport, only to discover your flight was cancelled? Maybe you sat in the airport for hours before you even knew the revised schedule. How frustrating!

Sometimes your journey with God takes an unexpected turn. You encounter an obstacle in the road and need to wait for God’s next step for you. What will help you when a barrier surprises you along the way? God’s peace will protect you from the elements in life. While peace in the world depends on an absence of conflict or turmoil, God’s peace in your heart is unmoved by outward circumstances. You need His peace whenever you are in trouble. Oh, how precious is the Lord’s peace for your journey in life!
