College & Christ: A 30-Day Devotional for College Girlsنموونە

In our scripture today, Paul was writing to the church in Colossae, warning them not to be pulled away by false teachings. He reminded them to stay rooted in Christ like a tree with deep roots that can survive storms.
The truth is, college will test your faith. Professors may challenge what you believe. Friends and roommates may live by values that don’t align with yours. Social media may make you question your worth. If your faith isn't grounded in a strong foundation, you could get easily swept away by every opinion. But if you stay rooted in Jesus through prayer, Scripture, and a community that is like-minded, you’ll stand firm. A tree with deep roots can weather storms and so can you. With Christ, you can overcome your doubts, fears, temptations, and the pressures of the world.
Think about this...
What daily habits could help you grow deeper roots in Christ? Write a prayer to tell God how much you want to stay connected to Him and ask God to help you stay on track with these healthy habits.

As a mom, youth leader, and someone who has worked with teen girls for over 14 years, I know this season can feel both exciting and overwhelming. My prayer is that in these 30 days, you’ll be reminded that God is with you in every lecture hall, dorm room, late-night study session, and moment of doubt. You are loved, chosen, and equipped to shine.
