College & Christ: A 30-Day Devotional for College Girlsنموونە

Remember Who You Are
In today's scripture, Peter was writing to early Christians who were really struggling with feeling like outsiders in a culture that didn’t understand them. So, Peter reminds them of their identity, telling them that they are chosen, royal, holy, and belong to God.
College can feel the same. You’re surrounded by people making different choices, living with different values, and sometimes it can feel like you don’t quite fit in. Maybe you’re tempted to reinvent yourself just to be accepted. But Peter’s words remind you that you don’t have to. Your identity is not in your GPA, your sorority letters, your relationship status, or your Instagram likes. You belong to God. That means you walk onto campus already loved, already chosen, already enough. When others forget your name, God calls you His.
Think about this...
What does it mean to you personally to be called “God’s special possession”?

As a mom, youth leader, and someone who has worked with teen girls for over 14 years, I know this season can feel both exciting and overwhelming. My prayer is that in these 30 days, you’ll be reminded that God is with you in every lecture hall, dorm room, late-night study session, and moment of doubt. You are loved, chosen, and equipped to shine.
