College & Christ: A 30-Day Devotional for College Girlsنموونە

Living on Mission
Micah 6:8 comes in the middle of a confrontation between God and His people. Israel thought God wanted elaborate sacrifices and rituals, but they were missing the point. God reminded them that He wasn’t interested in empty religion; He wanted their lives to be transformed. This verse is one of the clearest summaries of God’s call to His people: justice, mercy, and humility.
The focus in college is often about achievement. But God is more concerned with your character than your accomplishments. Living on mission means embodying justice and standing up for what’s right, even if it’s unpopular. Other practical ways to live on mission in college might look like choosing to show grace to a professor or roommate instead of holding a grudge, or pausing to pray before making decisions rather than relying only on your own wisdom. These small but intentional choices allow you to practice justice, extend mercy, and walk humbly with God in everyday campus life.
Think about this...
How can you live one of these out on campus this week? What would it look like for you to treat your everyday college life as a mission?

As a mom, youth leader, and someone who has worked with teen girls for over 14 years, I know this season can feel both exciting and overwhelming. My prayer is that in these 30 days, you’ll be reminded that God is with you in every lecture hall, dorm room, late-night study session, and moment of doubt. You are loved, chosen, and equipped to shine.
