Romans: A 30 Day Visitنموونە

Paul is delivering a "state of the world" address, and it's sobering. He claims that creation clearly speaks about who God is, and we ignore it. He claims that we have traded the worship of the One True God for the worship of idols or created things. He also says that although we claim to be wise, we are actually filled with every kind of wickedness.
Wherever you are right now, look around, stand up, and peer out a window at the creation in your view. What seems awe-inspiring as you look?
How could this sense of awe point you towards the Creator?
In your own sphere (work, school, family, neighborhood, etc.), how do we/you worship and serve created things rather than the Creator?
When God is disregarded and people are devalued, how does this impact attitudes towards sexuality?
Are there ways in which you disagree with Paul's assessment of the world?

Paul's letter to the church in Rome is packed! He is helping this new church establish a vision for what it looks like to be citizens of God's Kingdom. There is doctrine to learn and live by, as well as wisdom for living life in ways that accurately reflect the King. As we take the trip together over the next month, we too see that what we believe, always influences how we live.
