Romans: A 30 Day Visitنموونە

Today, we read a small excerpt from the story of Abraham. Paul uses Abraham's story as a proof text to show that everyone who is saved from death is saved by faith, not by their works.
What did Abraham believe about God in faith that allowed him to be credited with righteousness?
I love the phrase 'against all hope- Abraham in hope believed'. In your own life, is there a situation that seems hopeless right now?
Spend some time talking to the Father about this situation. Ask Him what it looks like to believe.

Paul's letter to the church in Rome is packed! He is helping this new church establish a vision for what it looks like to be citizens of God's Kingdom. There is doctrine to learn and live by, as well as wisdom for living life in ways that accurately reflect the King. As we take the trip together over the next month, we too see that what we believe, always influences how we live.
