The Cure for Envyنموونە

The Weight of Envy
Whenever I noticed envy making its way into my life, I became more irritable than before. Things I once enjoyed suddenly felt like burdens. Even the people I loved were harder to treat kindly. Proverbs says envy rots the bones; it corrodes us from the inside out. Envy is like a heavy weight on the soul, slowly crushing joy and turning life bitter.
God does not want us to live under this weight. He offers freedom from envy’s grip by filling our hearts with His peace. He reminds us that our worth and joy are not tied to what others have, but to who He is and what He has already given us.
Respond to God’s Word:
Bring before God the areas where envy has made you bitter, weary, or unkind. Ask Him to exchange that heaviness for His peace and strength.
