The Cure for Envyنموونە

The Fruit of Envy
For me, I believed the lie that since no one saw or noticed I was envious, I could keep it a secret and still be living well, still be living a godly life. But that was a lie. Scripture is clear that envy is not harmless; it is a work of the flesh and leads to disorder and every evil practice. What seems small and private actually bears destructive fruit in our hearts, our relationships, and even our spiritual walk.
Envy begins in secret but never stays there. It shows up in our words, our attitudes, and our relationships. God warns us because He loves us and doesn’t want us to carry something that only breeds unrest.
Respond to God’s Word:
Pray honestly about the places where envy has shaped your actions, even if no one else saw it. Ask the Holy Spirit to uproot envy and replace it with love and peace.
