When I was a child, I created things I loved for the ones I loved.

I drew pictures of my family, of my pets, of my favourite places to go. I made craft from everyday things like sticks, leaves, and rocks, and recreated those dearest to me. But I loved nothing more than giving those creations to the people I loved.

If that instinct is even a small reflection of who God is, how mysterious and beautiful it is to think that God created us, and the world, from deep love.

Our creativity is a beautiful gift from our Creator, but it’s also a reflection of His creativity. We bear His image in our creativity. So may we worship Him through it.

Creativity doesn’t begin and end with art. It’s how we think, how we act, how we steward our time and money. It’s how we build relationships, how we raise families, and even how we show love back to God.

Prayer: Lord, we thank You for Your deep love for us. We thank You that You made us in Your image. Help us today to reflect on Your love and Your creativity in our lives and worship of You. Amen.
