The Art of Being Stillنموونە

I Am God
Now, that's a Word.
That's a Word that would silence anxiety.
That's a Word that would allow us to honor who God is and rest in that truth.
That's a Word that would let us know who we serve.
That Word would cause a person whose thoughts are running rampant with worry to "be still."
We've all needed to be reminded of who we serve amid our worries, amid our failed plans, during broken relationships/marriages, when storms that won't cease, when we've lost friends/jobs, when we are experiencing the death of a loved one, or a scary diagnosis, and honestly, everything else.
In those moments when we feel like we've tried everything, but nothing is working. Have we tried God's way concerning that situation?
Today, be still before God and take hold of the truth in who He is. Then take time to hear from Him concerning how He wants you to face that circumstance in your life.
Practice:
- Set aside five minutes to meditate on "I am God."
- Be still, breathe, and rest.
- Journal about who God is as it is revealed in scripture.
- Journal what God has revealed to you today.
