As you reflect on Colossians 2, one word rises to the surface: freedom. Freedom from deceptive philosophies. Freedom from dead religion. Freedom from sin and spiritual debt. This chapter calls us to live fully rooted in Christ and nothing else.

In Jesus, we are alive. In Jesus, we are full. In Jesus, we are victorious. There’s no need to add religious layers or cultural baggage to the gospel. Christ is enough.

Take time today to look back over the week. Where has God spoken to you? What truths do you need to hold onto? Let your heart rest in the simplicity and power of the gospel.

Daily Application: Write a personal declaration: Christ is enough for me. Read it aloud, then pray over the truths of Colossians 2, asking God to root them deep in your heart.
