Christ Over Everything - Colossiansنموونە

Theme: Put to Death the Old Self
Paul doesn’t sugarcoat the journey of transformation. He tells believers to 'put to death' what belongs to the earthly nature. This is strong, decisive language—it’s about killing sin, not managing it. Sexual immorality, greed, anger, slander—these have no place in the new life of a believer.
We’re not just called to stop bad behavior; we’re called to strip off the old identity completely. The way you used to think, speak, and act was part of the old self, but now you’ve been made new. Christ is renewing you in knowledge and shaping you to reflect His image.
In Christ, there is no hierarchy of value based on background, status, or race. He is all and in all. That’s a radical message of unity and transformation through the gospel.
Daily Application: Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal one area of your old self that needs to be put to death. Confess it to God, receive His grace, and take a tangible step to walk in freedom today.
