Devotional Thought
When you’re lost, you’re always searching. Searching for where you belong. For what will finally make you feel okay. For something that fills the emptiness you can’t quite explain. Paul says that in Christ, that search is over—you’ve been found. And when you’re found, you realize you have more than you ever knew to look for. He says you’ve been given an inheritance—not just someday but starting now. And the greatest part of that inheritance is Jesus Himself. Psalm 16 says, “at His right hand are pleasures forevermore.” That means you’re not missing out. You’re not behind. You’re not lacking. You have access to the riches of heaven—not because you’re impressive, but because you’re in Christ. Found people don’t have to chase what they already have.
Reflection Question:
What’s one thing you keep chasing that you already have access to in Christ—but you’ve forgotten?

The book of Ephesians is a letter written by Paul while imprisoned in Rome. He wrote to encourage believers in Ephesus, a wealthy city known for trade and idol worship. These Christians had once been far from God but were now learning what it meant to be found in Him. Paul reminded them of their new identity in Christ and called them to live differently—treating others well, speaking kindly, obeying, and standing strong in faith through life’s challenges. Join us in this 14-day devotional as we unpack Ephesians and what it means to follow Jesus!
