Born Again Man: 3 Day Bible Plan on Becoming the Man God Had in Mindنموونە

Day 2: Transformed by God
As we discussed on day one, Jesus extends a profound invitation to the world: the call to be born again. For some, life may seem fine, leading to the question: why seek rebirth if one’s current existence is fine? Yet, for others who feel a sense of dissatisfaction, the idea of a new life is enticing. Regardless of our circumstances, the essence of spiritual rebirth transcends our physical reality. It invites us to experience a deeper transformation—one that brings us face to face with God, opening our hearts to His ways and allowing it to take root within us.
Scripture reminds us of this transformative power. In John 3:3, Jesus states, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” This new birth is not about changing our physical state; it’s about a spiritual encounter that empowers us to live in alignment with God’s will.
Throughout the Bible, we see examples of individuals who encountered God and experienced radical transformation. Consider the prophet Isaiah; after his encounter with God, he became the voice that foretold the coming of Jesus, boldly proclaiming God’s message to nations (Isaiah 6:8). Abraham, too, had a divine encounter that led him to leave his homeland and become the father of many nations (Genesis 12:1-3). Moses met God in a burning bush and transitioned from a shepherd to the leader of the Israelites and guided them out of slavery (Exodus 3:4-10).
In the New Testament, we witness the transformation of Paul. Once a persecutor of the church, his encounter with Christ on the road to Damascus transformed him into an apostle who planted churches and authored much of the New Testament (Acts 9:1-19).
When we genuinely encounter God, our lives will change! It’s a divine promise. If you feel a longing to experience this transformation, I invite you to pray this prayer of surrender:
God,
I want to encounter you in my life. Show me your face and make me who you desire me to be. Transform my heart and lead me in your ways. In Jesus' name, amen.
Let this prayer be part of your journey into the depths of God’s love and purpose for your life. Remember, every encounter with God is an opportunity for transformation.
