Do Not Be Anxious About Anythingنموونە

God Strengthens The Weary
Scripture:
...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31 NIV
Reflection:
Have you ever noticed how people act when they’re tired? We become short-tempered, overwhelmed, easily discouraged, or withdrawn. Even little things feel like too much.
That’s because weariness doesn’t just affect our bodies — it weighs on our hearts.
When we’re weary, it’s often a sign that we’ve been carrying more than we were meant to. It’s not just about needing sleep — it’s about needing rest for our souls. Just like a baby cries when they’re tired, we act out in our own ways: frustration, anxiety, or even silence.
But our Heavenly Father sees.
He doesn’t get impatient with our weariness, but gently invites us to come close. In His love, we find rest again. Not the kind that comes from checking out, but the kind that comes from being held, known, and restored.
So when you feel weary, don’t push through. Quiet your heart, and let God soothe you with His peace.
Journaling Prompt:
Could you take some time to tell the Father what is weighing on your heart? Are there any situations that are draining your energy? Ask Him to speak to your heart.
Prayer:
Lord, I need Your strength. Fill me with fresh energy and hope today. Amen.
Practical Tip:
When you’re feeling tired, get cosy. Put on your favourite worship or soaking music. Curl up with a blanket and imagine God holding you as you’re resting in His arms. Feel His strength entering every cell of your body.
