We Are Familyنموونە

Want an easy-to-remember way to read and study the Bible? No matter which passage of Scripture you're reading, ask yourself these three questions: "What?" "So What?" "Now What?" We'll show you how!
WHAT? What is this passage about?
What promise was Jacob given about the future God had for his family?
SO WHAT? Why does it matter?
Which of God's promises for you came to mind as you read this passage?
How do you see Jacob's response to God relating to us?
NOW WHAT? What should I do about it?
What's something about your own family history that interests you? What's something you wonder about where you came from?
Think about the legacy you would want to leave others. What's something you would want those around you to know is true about God because of how you live?
How can believing God doesn't change bring you confidence in moments when your own family is going through a confusing or hard time?

Family can be complicated. Some family memories make us laugh, and others… well, we’d rather forget. The truth is, no family is perfect, and even the Bible is full of families that fell short of the ideal—just look at Abraham’s! In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we’ll follow Abraham’s family, who had their own set of imperfections, and see how God was faithful through their best and worst moments. Along the way, we’ll discover that no matter what kind of family we have, there's always room for us in God's family.
