Imitators of Godنموونە

Love Your Wife Well
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. Ephesians 5:25 (ESV).
Your marriage is one of the clearest pictures of the gospel your children and others will ever see. Christ’s love for the Church was self-giving and steadfast - He laid His life down for her.
That’s the standard for a husband’s love. Leading your home begins with loving your wife - through listening, honoring, protecting, and serving.
What intentional step can I take today to love my wife more like Christ?
Prayer: Father God, thank You for the blessing of my wife. Help me to love her with strength, patience and sacrifice. Let our marriage reflect Your love to the world and leave a legacy of honor and unity. In Jesus name, Amen.

God has called men to more than strength. He has called us to spiritual leadership. As sons, husbands, fathers, and mentors, we are to live our lives in a way that reflects the character of Christ. This 5-day devotional is built around the call found in Scripture to “be imitators of God.” If you want to lead well, it begins with following well. Let us grow as imitators of our perfect Father.
