God’s Good Work

… being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. - Philippians 1:6

The Promise: God will finish the good work He started in me.

God wants you to be whole and healthy. He also wants you to be mature in character, fully grown in your faith. He has had His hands on you for your entire life, and He isn’t stopping now. There is no doubt that God will continue to work in and through you for your flourishing, for the encouragement of others, and for His glory. There is more in store for you than you can even imagine. Look at where He has brought you so far! Keep holding to Him; God’s great work in you is evident.

Laughter really can be the best medicine. Pop in an old movie that keeps you in stitches or pull up some cute animal videos and watch them be adorably ridiculous. Get together with that friend who always brings a good time and get in some big belly laughs. Smiling lifts your mood and reminds your brain that there is fun and goodness in the world. This life isn’t meant to be taken too seriously, and getting a good laugh session in will also give you a good workout, body and soul.
