Prayers to Cope With Depressionنموونە

The Peace of God
When I said, “My foot is slipping,” Your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought me joy.
Psalm 94:18-19
Lord,
You know the triggers that spike panic without warning. My heart pounds and it’s hard to breathe. Racing thoughts make it impossible to think clearly or solve the issue at hand. As fear takes hold, I feel like lashing out, bursting into tears, or running for cover. It seems impossible to restore my sense of peace.
Yet You, Lord, are ready to meet me in the moment. Teach me to focus on Your Word that promises Your constant presence, power, and love. Move me to pray since You hear me when I cry out to You in distress (Psalm 55:17). Bear the Spirit’s fruit of peace in my heart so I stand firm in the face of trouble. You are my comfort and joy.
Amen.
