Prayers to Cope With Depressionنموونە

Willing to Change
Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses…Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice.
Proverbs 27:6; 9
Lord,
I don’t always get it right. My emotions cloud my understanding of what’s true and real. False assumptions create conflict and unnecessary pain. My limited perspective keeps me from seeing the help and resources You’ve given for my good. I need a caring, honest friend who will tell me what I need to hear.
I pray You will send others to speak the truth in love instead of offering quick fixes or false sympathy. Give me a humble spirit that is willing to be corrected and challenged to change. Teach me Your Word so Your wisdom and light can shine into my life. Thank You that I don’t have to walk this road alone.
Amen.
