Lent | Week 2: Trusting God for What You Needنموونە

Weakness and Strength
Have you ever tried to power through a tough situation on your own? Maybe it’s exhaustion from a never-ending to-do list, a struggle you can’t seem to overcome, or the weight of trying to hold everything together.
We often think strength means pushing through, like we have to prove we can handle whatever life throws at us. But Paul reminds us that God’s grace shows up most powerfully when we finally admit to ourselves that we can’t do it all.
Lent gives us space to stop striving and start surrendering. When we let go of the need to be strong on our own, we make space for God’s strength to take over. What weakness do you need to hand over to him today?
Prayer: God, help me understand that I don’t need to have it all together. I want to rely on your strength and watch in awe as you work in my life. Amen.

In the second week of Lent, we’ll see how God met the needs of his people in the Bible - whether through manna in the wilderness, provision in scarcity, or strength in weakness. As we reflect on these stories, we’ll be challenged to trust that he is faithful to provide everything we truly need as we focus our attention back on him. 📖 This is part 2 of a 6-part Bible Reading Plan series! Part 1 is "Lent Week 1: Turning Back to God"
